Emergency medicine physician, parent, and founder of Bumbrella
Michael T. Stanek is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who trained in Chicago and now lives and works in Indiana. In the ER, he sees what happens when small problems get ignored, and at home he's seen his share of diaper rash. That combination is what started Bumbrella.
Most of his time outside the hospital belongs to his wife and two daughters. You're likely to find him on a long run or bike ride (an old habit that once took him to the Ironman World Championship), or in the backyard tending a flock of chickens that the girls insist are the real heads of the household.
He built Bumbrella for the same reason he does everything else: to take good care of the people who matter most.
